Best new studio
Acheron Design received a commendation in the Best Startup category at the 2007 Game Developers Association of Australia awards. The commendation acknowledged Acheron Design's entry into the game development community, with the company releasing several titles and doubling in size in that year. The award also recognises the work that Acheron Design performs with local educational institutions.

Finalist - Best handheld game
Brian Lara Pressure Play was nominated as the best handheld game of the year at the 2007 Game Developers Association of Australia awards. The game made it to the final round of judging, certifying the quality and technical achievement of the title.
